This Past Week

So last Saturday, after working all night we took Perri out on the pontoon boat for the first time. She did really well and we all really had fun spending time together. There are pictures in the slide show on the blog. We learned a few things that helped us for yesterday when we went out with Charlie and Stacy. This past week we went to a dinner celebration put on by KU Med for the nurses who won excellence awards in certain areas. The food was really good and was nice to be recognized. The picture below is of Travis and I before we left. Perri went to Charlie and Stacy's house for the evening. Other than that the week was pretty uneventful, I worked again Friday night and woke up after a couple hours of sleep to go back out on the boat. Today, we are going to church and then a kickball tournament where different units in the hospital put together teams to play for charity. Travis and Perri are coming to watch just to see how out of shape I really am. We look forward to seeing my aunt Kristy and her kids this coming weekend, along with the rest of my family.
