We're Crawling!!

Well as of last Wednesday, Perri finally found first gear. After about 3 weeks of going backwards, running into a wall and getting very frustrated, she figured out how to go forward. Though a bit unorthodox way of doing it, she get where she wants to go. The baby gates have begun to go up and more things have come off tables in preparation of her climbing on things. It was a very exciting thing to see her do and is fun to have her come to you now, open arms. She is getting and acting so big it hard to believe she is 7 months already.

Other than that, things have been busy around the Wagner house. Betsy has been working many hours settling into her new job, figuring things out, but for the most part like it so far. She hates the late nights and early mornings to where she doesn’t get to see Perri, but things should slow down and settle into more of a routine soon. We are all working on Perri being at day care all day every day. We both start to miss her by the middle of the afternoon and cannot wait until the end our day comes to an end so we can be together. I have been playing softball and my season of officiating basketball is starting to gear up and is right around the corner.

Other happenings lately, we survived our team triathlon in South Dakota, though a bit slow, we finished (Goal #1). My parents game down a couple weeks ago and went to the Renaissance Festival, which we all enjoyed. We took in another Royals game against Boston with some friends. It was a bit rainy but we were able to tailgate and watch a few innings from the seats and the rest from the concourse, and the Royals won! We have spent some time with Becky while Whitey has been on some motorcycle trips during the weekends.

We have been enjoying the weather, family and friends. We are planning on going and watching K-State vs. Iowa State this weekend at Arrowhead with some friends and hopefully watch K-State get their first “real” win of the season, might be the only one too. Other than that no really big plans but enjoy the pictures of the past few weeks.
