Latest Happenings

As it has been brought to our attention that we have not posted for a month now. So just a quick update of what we have been up to in the past 30 days. Probably the most notable and accomplishing is that after a week with my mom while our day care was on vacation we feel that we are well on our way to dubing Perri "potty trained." She has been doing great at day care, home and on the road. Don't want to ginks it yet, but soon we will be out of pulls ups and diapers during the day time. Thanks Mom!

We finally got our camper out for the first time of the season over Memorial day. Perri had a great time as well as she has become a pretty good bike rider. She enjoyed the nightly bike rides around the campgrounds. We hope this is the first of many camping trips.

We also got to take in our first Royals game of the year as well. They broke their losing streak and was good outing. Perri was excited to see Slugger and when we went looking for him, we couldn't find him. She became bummed and then he just showed up by our seats and we whiffed on getting a picture with Perri and Slugger, but she did get to give him five, so she was happy. Thanks to Jim and Jean (Betsy's Uncle and Aunt) for the awesome tickets.

The other notable event that took place was that we got to help celebrate my parents renewing their wedding vowes. It was not a milestone anniversary for them but the best man in their wedding was recently ordained as a priest and they wanted him to do the ceremony once he became ordained. It was nice ceremony and a great reception. Was so very nice that many family and friends were able to make it to help celebrate this event in my parents life. Happy Anniversary to them on June 21st.

This weekend we are getting family/Perri pictures so be looking for them in the future. I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. Until next time.
