Fall at the Wagner’s

Fall has begun and we have been enjoying the weather as well as all the football that come with the season. Both K-State and the Chiefs are off to great starts, which make it even better. Things have been busy around our house including some travel, some play with friends and hanging out with our neighbors in the cult-de-sac. Even Perri has been catching the football fever; she will set on the couch and say “Football” clap and cheer, which is pretty cute. Her other favorite word is “Yo Gabba Gabba” which she seems to say every time she sees a TV. The way she says it is funny, we will have record it and post it.

Betsy is finishing up her second week of her new position at KU Med. She is now an educator for the entire hospital and is specializing in the area of their electronic charting system. I think it is an adjustment for her, like most new positions, but is enjoying it. I am gearing up for refing basketball by doing fall camps on Sundays which helps me get more and higher quality games for the winter. I am finding out that I am out of shape real quick.

Last Friday Betsy’s co-workers threw her a congratulations/going way party. It was fun and nice to have a night out just the two of us. Our neighbor watched Perri and she had fun playing with their two girls. We realized this week that we had not been to a Royals game this season. This is the last week of their season so we will be taking in the game on Friday. Also we are headed to visit Scott, Jinny, Ayden and Gemma this weekend. It has been a while since we have been down there and we wanted to go down there to see their newest addition. Also this Sunday, we are going to swing through Topeka on our way home to see Andy and his family from Arizona to see his kids, which we have not met which will aslso be fun.

I posted some pictures of us at our campsite when we went to the KSU vs. UCLA game. Until next time.
