As mentioned before we have not posted in quite some time. Part of the reason for that is because we have been on the go for the past month. After vacation, we went back to Stockton for Betsy's 10 year high school reunion and take in some of the Rooks County Free Fair. We also traveled to Rogers, AR for a weekend with friends.
Last week week took in K-State's first football game with my parents and making it a weekend camping trip to Tuttle Creek. It was a good time and a good game, plus K-State won. Perri even got a taste of Aggieville after the game while we meet up with my Aunt and Uncle. My parents stayed Saturday night with us in our camper and I think they had a good time.
This past week has been eventful as well, Billie, cousin was getting ready to have surgery, as Betsy mentioned before. She came out of round one well and has to go back in again on Monday for round two. So keep her and her family in your prayers. Hopefully everything goes well and his home soon. Also on Friday we welcomed our newest niece. My brother Scott, welcomed their second child, Gemma on Friday. All is well and both mom and baby is doing well. Ayden seems to be adjusting to having be the big brother.
Betsy is on her way home from Omaha with Perri, I have been home all weekend and will be glad to see them. I think Betsy will be glad to see me, so she can get a break from Perri. Perri is doing great she is talking more and more and we are starting to introduce the thought of "potty" with her own potty and books an videos. We will see how that goes.
I am excited for football season so my weekends might not be as productive as one would hope but I love this time of year, getting together with friend and neighbors to watch the games and enjoy the weather. Until next time.
